Chandigarh, May 14 -- Former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Wednesday said that a derogatory comment by a minister in BJP-ruled state about Colonel Sofia Qureshi was an insult to the armed forces as well as the country. A comment by Vijay Shah, a minister in Madhya Pradesh, went viral in social media. Without naming the minister, the Congress leader wrote on X that BJP's misogyny has come out in the open many a time whether it was trolling of wife of Navy officer martyred in Pahalgam terrorist attack, trolling of daughter of Vikram Misri, Secretary of External affairs or now comment about Qureshi.
