Bhopal, July 28 -- The Madhya Pradesh Assembly today paid tributes on the inaugural day of the monsoon session to persons who departed in the inter-session period. Subsequent to the obituary references, Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar adjourned proceedings until tomorrow as a mark of respect to the deceased.
Earlier, as soon as proceedings started, the Speaker mentioned the demises of Gujarat's erstwhile chief minister Vijay Rupani, the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, Air India plane crash at Ahmedabad, former members Raja Surendra Bahadur Singh, Raghunath Choudhary, Shivshankar Lal Munna Kheri, Khemraj Patidar; ex-Union ministers Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, Girija Vyas; film personality Manoj Kumar and folk artiste Ram Sahay Pandey.
