Kozhikode, Oct. 24 -- Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) working president Shafi Parambil today accused a police officer of attacking him during the violence in Perambra on October 10.
Addressing a press conference, Shafi Parambil identified the police officer as Abhilash David of Thiruvananthapuram, currently serving as Circle Inspector at the Vadakara Control room.
He also released visuals allegedly showing the police officer attacking him on the head and face, describing the assault as a planned attack. According to Shafi Parambil, Abhilash David is a strong CPI(M) supporter and a regular visitor to the Vanchiyoor CPI(M) office when he was at Thiruvananthapuram.
