Morena, May 18 -- Two individuals attending wedding ceremonies were shot at and injured by unidentified assailants in two separate incidents in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh, police said on Sunday.
Police sources said the first incident occurred on the Ambah bypass road in the Station Road police station area. Akash Sharma was returning home late Saturday night after attending a wedding when unknown bike-borne individuals stopped him and opened fire, injuring him.
The police have reviewed CCTV footage from the area to identify the culprits, and the injured person is being treated at the district hospital in Morena.
