Bhind (MP), Oct. 21 -- Two men were arrested for allegedly torturing a Dalit driver and forcing him to consume liquor and urine, police said today.
The horrific incident took place within the Surpura Police Station limits of the district's Ater Sub-Division. The victim, Gyan Singh Jatav, a driver from Ajudhpura, was hospitalised this morning.
Police stated that two youths from Datawali village allegedly became incensed after Jatav refused their request to drive their truck.
On Diwali night, the accused reportedly forced Jatav into their car in Gwalior's Maharajpura area and drove him to Surpura village. The victim alleged that the duo beat him, compelled him to drink liquor, and then forced him to consume urine.
