Morena, May 28 -- Two accused were arrested for the murder of an uncle and nephew, who were shot dead in broad daylight three days ago, Morena police said.

The police also recovered the car used in the crime, two 315-bore pistols, and live cartridges from the accused.

Superintendent of Police Samir Saurabh said that the accused, Biru Shukla and Govind Khatik, were involved in an illegal business of buying diesel from truck drivers at a cheap rate and selling it at a higher price. On May 26, they were selling diesel in a car when they were suspected by Banti and Bhola Bhadouria, employees of a liquor contractor, who thought they were transporting illicit liquor.
