Bhopal, May 13 -- The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has approved a plan worth around Rs 47.11 crore for the management of wild elephants, aiming to reduce human-pachyderm conflict in the state.



According to official information, the plan will focus on protecting and monitoring elephants in and around protected areas, habitat management, and development.

A control room will be set up to monitor wild elephants, and various structures will be constructed to prevent human-wildlife conflict. E-surveillance will be established, and rescue and rehabilitation efforts for wildlife will be undertaken.
