Bhopal, July 5 -- A clash broke out on Saturday between the police and activists of Karni Sena who were protesting outside the SP Office in Mandsaur, demanding withdrawal of an FIR registered against Karni Sena national president Jeevan Singh Sherpur.
The police had to use water cannon to control the unruly mob of hundreds of protesters.
Sherpur alleged that police has registered a false FIR against him.
According to Mandsaur SP Abhishek Anand, the FIR has been registered on the orders of the Mandsaur Court.
The incident had occured on 26 June in Behpur village in Mandsaur district.
