Satna (MP), Aug. 21 -- A woman was killed during a dispute over the digging of a foundation on a government plot in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh, police said today.
The incident happened at Kudiya Naubasta village under Singhpur Police Station limits.
Yesterday afternoon, when Dinesh Kol and his wife Rampyari Kol were digging to make a house, Lalu Kol asked them to stop.
A dispute ensued and lathis were used. Rampyari (42) died, whereas Dinesh and another person sustained injuries. Lalu is in custody. UNI XC-AC SSP
