Sheopur (MP), Sept. 3 -- The Madhya Pradesh government is for the time being not shifting to any other state any of the cheetahs brought from Namibia and South Africa to this district's Kuno National Park.

Confirming this, Additional Chief Secretary (Forest) Ashok Barnwal said, "The decision has been taken after high-level talks."The administration has decided that there will be no shifting until the cheetah family increases further in number. A consent letter had been inked with Rajasthan, which mentioned the creation of a corridor between the two states.
