Bhopal, Feb. 17 -- The Madhya Pradesh Assembly today witnessed an approximately 45-minute-long meaningful discussion on increasing attacks on people by stray dogs.

Through the medium of a calling attention notice, Atif Aqueel and Rajan Mandloi (both principal-opposition Congress) raised the issue of increasing terror of stray dogs, some children allegedly dying after attacks and anti-rabies injections proving ineffective. Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and Health Minister Rajendra Shukla replied on behalf of the Treasury Benches.
