Badwani, May 17 -- A tragic accident occurred in the Badwani district in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday, where a vehicle carrying villagers to a weekly market overturned, leaving 28 people injured, police said.

According to the Khetia police, the incident occurred near Jaliyapani village when the driver lost control of the pickup vehicle, which was carrying villagers to the market. The accident resulted in injuries to 28 people, including five children and 10 women. The injured were admitted to the Khetia Community Health Centre, and seven of them were later referred to the district hospital in Badwani for further treatment.
