Jaipur, Oct. 15 -- Twenty people died and many others were grievously injured after a moving bus caught fire in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer city on Tuesday.
The sleeper coach bus carrying 57 passengers from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur, was passing by the vicinity of the army station when it caught fire.
The flames immediately engulfed the entire vehicle turning it into a moving ball of fire.
According to official reports, rescuers have extricated as many as 19 bodies from the burnt bus, the toll is likely rise further, the reports stated.
Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in his condolence message on X handle has put the casualty figure at 20.
