Chennai, June 11 -- The National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) and National Institute
of Advanced Studies (NIAS) entered into a MoU for the joint initiatives in advanced space applications.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Prakash Chauhan, Director, NRSC, ISRO and Dr. Shailesh Nayak, Director, NIAS at a function at NIAS campus, Bengaluru, ISRO said in a release.
The main purpose of the MoU is to encourage research-oriented collaboration between the faculty/scientists, researchers, and students to pursue joint research activities, based on mutual interests, using remote sensing and geospatial technologies and development of geospatial
database in various applications like archaeology, urban expanse, air quality, environment,
