Hyderabad, Aug. 21 -- The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught two government officials in separate cases on Thursday for allegedly demanding and accepting bribes.

In the first case, Gurram Vivekananda Reddy, Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) of Armoor in Nizamabad district, and his driver Nelli Thirupathi were caught by ACB officials after allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000 from a complainant.

The amount was reportedly taken through the driver for services such as vehicle registration, renewal of licenses, and issuance of learning licenses.

The tainted cash was recovered from Thirupathi, and both the Accused Officers (AOs) were being arrested and produced before the II Additional Special Judge for ACB cases at Nampally, Hyder...
