Ranchi, Jan. 7 -- Minister for Higher and Technical Education, Sudivya Kumar, on Wednesday emphasised that multilingual education is the foundation of the state's cultural identity, inclusivity, and quality learning.
Addressing the inaugural session of the two-day National Conclave on Multilingual Education at Hotel Chanakya B.N.R. in Ranchi, the Minister said Jharkhand is a living example of linguistic diversity, aptly reflecting the saying that language and culture change every few miles.
He noted that the state is home to five tribal and four regional languages, and its 24 districts cannot be bound by a single language.
