Mumbai, Dec. 28 -- Police in Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai, have arrested a woman for the alleged murder of her six-year-old daughter. The police are currently interrogating the suspect.
Investigating officers stated on Sunday that the woman holds a Bachelor of Science degree and lived in the Kalamboli area with her husband, an IT professional.
The incident came to light on December 23 when the woman took her unconscious daughter to a hospital, claiming the child had fainted due to health issues. The medical staff declared the child dead upon arrival and subsequently informed the Kalamboli police.
