Mathura, Oct. 31 -- A woman and her teenage daughter died after coming into contact with a live electric wire in the Govind Nagar area of Mathura this morning. The younger daughter narrowly escaped death when the power supply was suddenly cut off.
According to reports, the incident took place around 9:30 a.m. in Pushp Vihar Colony, under the jurisdiction of Govind Nagar police station. Vijay Kashyap, who earns his living by driving an e-rickshaw, lives in a rented house with his wife Meena and their two daughters, 14-year-old Keemat and Nandini.
