More than 50 self-help groups preparing 15000 masks daily: HP Director of Rural Development

Shimla, April 8 -- Director of Rural Development Department Himachal Pradesh and the State Head of National Livelihood Mission Lalit Jain on Wednesday said that the state Rural Development Department under National livelihood Mission have come forward to combat COVID-19 and keep people safe through this pandemic

He said that in this regard, new energy has been infused in the self-help groups in the state and more than 50 self help groups are preparing almost 15000 masks on daily a basis.

To fulfil the continuous demand of the mask in the state, almost 2000 women's of 250 self help groups devoted for making mask in the state. He said that one lack masks have been given to various departments and other institutions in the state so far and ...
