Chennai, April 21 -- There were more injuiry concerns for five-time winners Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who has just two wins in four matches, as the team suffered a body blow when inform batter young Ayush Mhatre was on Tuesday ruled out of the IPL due to a left hamstring injury.
A CSK statement said Mhatre sustained the injury while batting during its last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in an away match on Saturday.
The injury will require a rehabilitation period of 6-12 weeks.
Ayush has scored 201 runs with two half centuries in the current edition of IPL at an average of over 30 and a strike rate in excess of 175.
