Bengaluru, June 18 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday predicted a lull in monsoon activity over Karnataka in the coming days, with rainfall expected to significantly decrease across most regions of the state, including Bengaluru. Speaking to reporters, IMD Scientist and Head of Forecasting Dr N Puviarasan said, "The monsoon activity is currently decreasing, especially over coastal Karnataka. A Yellow Alert for rainfall has been issued for today, but from tomorrow onwards, no weather alerts are in place."
