Pune, July 10 -- The southwest monsoon has been vigorous over Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and active over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Haryana, Jammu& Kashmir, and Ladakh, eastern Madhya Pradesh, and Vidarbha, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today.
It has been subdued over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Bihar, Saurashtra and Kutch, Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka, and south interior Karnataka, the IMD bulletin said.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, western Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Vidarbha, Konkan, Goa, and coastal Karnataka.
