Ranchi, July 15 -- The Monsoon Session of the sixth Jharkhand Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin on August 1 and will continue till August 7, as per the provisional itinerary released by the Assembly Secretariat.
The session will commence with oath or affirmation by members, if any, followed by the tabling of authenticated messages from the Governor concerning vacancies in the House. Obituary references, where applicable, may also be taken up on the opening day.
The Assembly will remain in recess over the weekend, on August 2 and 3 (Saturday and Sunday), before reconvening on August 4 for regular proceedings.
