Islamabad, July 26 -- Torrential monsoon rain-related incidents have killed 266 people and injured 633 others across Pakistan over the past 30 days, according to data released by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
According to the NDMA's latest situation report, no new fatalities were recorded in the past 24 hours, while five injuries were reported. The data covers the period from June 26 to July 25.
The eastern Punjab province reported the highest number of casualties, with 144 people killed and 493 injured. In the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, 63 people were reported dead and 79 others injured. The southern Sindh province registered 25 fatalities and 40 injuries.
