Shimla, Sept. 19 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the southwest monsoon might start withdrawing from Himachal Pradesh in the next three to four days.

The withdrawal line will pass through the state on September 21 to 25.

There is no rain forecast for Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti district on September 20 onwards.

The Met office added that monsoon activity would reduce after Thursday.

For today (Sept 18), light to moderate rain was forcast at many places with chances of heavy rain and thunderstorms at isolated spots in Bilaspur, Kangra, Mandi and Sirmaur.

From September 19 onwards, the weather is likely to improve, with only light showers at a few places. Most areas are expected to turn dry after September 21.
