Shimla/Kullu/Mandi, Aug. 2 -- Relentless monsoon rains have plunged Himachal Pradesh into crisis, unleashing a wave of flash floods, landslides, and large-scale destruction of infrastructure. Vital roads lie buried, power and water supply systems are crippled, and entire communities remain cut off as the state grapples with one of its worst monsoon disasters in recent years. The total estimated damage has soared past Rs1,626.19 crore.
