Ulan Bator, June 16 -- Mongolia's measles death toll has reached six after one more related death was registered, the country's National Centre for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) said on Monday.
Meanwhile, 693 people remain in hospital, including 5 critically ill children, the NCCD said in a statement.
According to Mongolian doctors, more than half of the latest confirmed cases were among school-age children who have had only one shot of the measles vaccine.
