Nahan (Himachal Pradesh), June 24 -- The Directorate of Education has suspended Rakesh Kumar, a government school mathematics teacher accused of molesting over two dozen girl students of Class 12 at PM Shri Adarsh Senior Secondary School in Rajgarh block of Sirmaur district. The action follows a preliminary inquiry and mounting public pressure.
The case came to light on June 21 during a Shiksha Samvad programme held at the school, where several girl students first raised complaints to the school principal.
