Bengaluru , July 15 -- Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister M Veerappa Moily today strongly pitched for the immediate implementation of a caste-based census in India, aligning with the stance repeatedly articulated by party leader Rahul Gandhi. Speaking to the media ahead of AICC OBC Advisory Council meeting, Moily said, "Our leader Rahul Gandhi has made it clear at every platform that caste enumeration must be conducted alongside the national census."
