Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 5 -- Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today said that Mohanlal's acting journey since the 1980s has captured the essence of Kerala's social and cultural transformation, portraying the emotions, values and struggles of Malayali life on screen.

He was inaugurating "Malayalam Vaanolam - Laal Salaam", a State Government felicitation organised at the Central Stadium here to honour the veteran actor, who recently received Indian cinema's highest award, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
