New Delhi, Dec. 29 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday called upon states to make manufacturing, high-quality governance and human capital development the core drivers of India's growth.

Unveiling a sweeping agenda that includes identifying 100 products for domestic manufacturing, Modi called for fast-tracking the upcoming National Manufacturing Mission and creating world-class tourism destinations as India accelerates towards the goal of Viksit Bharat.

Chairing the Fifth National Conference of Chief Secretaries in the national capital, the Prime Minister said India had "boarded the Reform Express," powered by the energy of its youth, and urged States to match ambition with execution.
