New Delhi, Dec. 30 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday described the year 2025 as a turning point in India's long-running reform effort, saying a series of policy changes across sectors had accelerated growth and reinforced the country's ambition of becoming a developed nation.

In a post on professional social network LinkedIn, Modi wrote that India had "boarded the Reform Express," propelled by a young population, entrepreneurial momentum and what he called the resilience of its people.

He stated that India's growing prominence on the global stage was the result of next-generation reforms designed to be multi-sectoral, citizen-focused and oriented towards long-term growth.
