Patna, July 17 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Motihari, a BJP bastion in East Champaran district in Bihar on July 18 as part of his ongoing efforts to galvanize support for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) ahead of the state Assembly elections.
Besides laying foundation stones and dedicating multiple developmental projects worth Rs 7,200 crores, Modi will be addressing public meeting, a part of the NDA's electoral campaign.
PM's Motihari visit is politically significant as out of 12 Assembly constituencies of the East Champaran, BJP had secured 8 seats and its alliance partner JDU won one seat in the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections.
