Jammu, Oct. 26 -- BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today blasted the NC government, saying it has "appallingly failed" to keep the electoral promises.
Addressing a public gathering while campaigning for the BJP candidate Divayani Rana for the by-election to the Nagrota Assembly constituency, Chugh said the Omar Abdullah government's performance would be regarded as the "darkest chapter" in the history of J&K, with the Abdullah family delivering nothing for the people.
Chugh called upon the party workers to work diligently for the success of Divayani while paying a rich tribute to her father, Devendra Rana, who was the sitting MLA and whose untimely demise necessitated the by-election.
