Guwahati, Sept. 12 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a two-day tour of Mizoram, Manipur, and Assam, with a packed schedule of inaugurations, outreach, and investments aimed at boosting connectivity, governance, and regional growth.
The visit begins tomorrow in Mizoram, where Modi will land at Lengpui Airport near Aizawl and address a public meeting at Lammual.
He will inaugurate the 51.38 km Bairabi-Sairang broad-gauge railway line - the first-ever rail link to Aizawl - and flag off trains connecting the state capital to Delhi, Kolkata, and Guwahati.
The event will also see the launch of new educational institutions and foundation stones for Central projects focused on connectivity and livelihoods.
