Bengaluru, Sept. 28 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat, today urged the youth to read the works of eminent Kannada writer and thinker SL Bhyrappa, highlighting how his writings guide young minds and emphasise pride in one's roots and cultural heritage.
Recalling his personal association with Bhyrappa, Modi said he had in-depth discussions with him on several books and diverse subjects, which left a lasting impression. He noted that many of Bhyrappa's Kannada works have been translated into other languages, making his literary insights accessible to a wider audience.
