Kolkata, July 7 -- Aimed at regaining ground in South Bengal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Durgapur in West Bengal again this July just before his election campaign in Bihar which is scheduled for assembly polls later this year.

Initially, plans were afoot for the Prime Minister to address a public rally at the Dum Dum Central Jail ground, covering four key organisational districts - Barasat, Bongaon, Barrackpore, and North Kolkata. Two grounds were also shortlisted for approval, but according to party sources, the central leadership has since revised the plan, selecting Durgapur as the new venue for the rally.
