Shillong, March 9 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation of projects worth more than Rs 290 crores in Meghalaya.
The projects inaugurated by the Prime Minister included Farmers' Hostel and Training Centre at Upper Shillong, Khadi Plaza/Market Complex at Barik Point, Shillong; Mini Football Stadium at Dalu in West Garo Hills district, Automation of Child Helpline and Integration with ERSS 112 and Capacity Development on Smart Devices Forensics and Creation of Resource Centre for the North Eastern Police Forces.
Modi also laid the foundation stones for setting up an Information Technology Park in Tura, West Garo Hills district, construction of four-lane road at New Shillong Township.
