Bengaluru, March 11 -- In a serious accusation regarding potential efforts to amend the Indian Constitution, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expressing his thoughts on the issue through BJP MP Ananthkumar Hegde.

He also gave a clarion call to the deprived people to oppose this idea of the BJP and feared 'bloodshed' in the country if the Constitution is changed.

"Changing the constitution is BJP's hidden agenda. The poor, backward, minorities of the entire country should oppose this idea of the BJP. If the Constitution is changed, there will be bloodshed in the country. PM Modi is expressing his thoughts through Ananthkumar," he told reporters here.
