Lucknow, April 19 -- The Uttar Pradesh government is fast-tracking the construction of modern campuses for new UP Special Security Force (UPSSF) battalions in order to bolster security infrastructure, official sources said here on Saturday.
Sources said that residential and non-residential facilities will be built for the third battalion in Prayagraj and the fourth in Mathura in line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's vision. "In Prayagraj, 42.03 acres of land have been identified in the Arail area, with 22 acres in Deoria village and 19 acres in Bhaipur village earmarked for the campus. The total estimated cost for the construction and development work here is Rs 198 crore (excluding GST)," they said.
