Pune, Dec. 30 -- Using Abhangs as a medium for social awakening has been a long-standing tradition in Maharashtra. Dr. Sanjay Upadhye has creatively carried this tradition forward through his modern abhang collection Vivek Sanhita, which offers guidance on how to live meaningfully in today's times, said Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, Founder-President of MIT World Peace University here on Tuesday.
He said through 101 thoughtfully composed abhangs, the collection appeals to human conscience and encourages society to follow the path of wisdom.
The book Vivek Sanhita, a modern abhang collection authored by renowned poet, speaker, and literary performer Dr. Sanjay Upadhye, was formally released at MIT by Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad.
