Hubballi, May 19 -- A mock drill simulating war and emergency scenarios was conducted near Hubballi airport on Gokula Road on Monday, demonstrating the district's preparedness for crisis response. The exercise was led by deputy commissioner Divya Prabhu and coordinated in close collaboration with the Dharwad district police. As part of the simulation, authorities enforced a temporary power shutdown and activated five sirens to recreate blackout conditions, mimicking the response protocols during wartime or national emergencies.
