Srinagar, Jan. 26 -- A day after government announced resumption of 2G internet on Saturday after 173 days, mobile service of all Cellular companies was once again snapped since early this morning as a precautionary measure on Sunday, when people are celebrating 71st Republic Day.
This is the first RD celebrations after Jammu and Kashmir became Union Territory (UT) on August 5, when centre scrapped Article 370 and 35 A besides divided the state into two UTs.
Post and pre paid mobile service was suspended this morning at about 0700 hrs as a precautionary measure in Kashmir valley, including summer capital, Srinagar, where the main R-Day function was held at S K cricket stadium at high security Sonawar area.
