Thane, Dec. 4 -- A mobile cancer screening initiative in Thane district has received an exceptional public response, reaching more than 5,000 citizens during a one-month health campaign.
The programme, conducted from November 3 to 29, was carried out under the guidance of Thane District Magistrate Dr. Shrikrishna Panchal and Chief Executive Officer Manoj Ranade.
The initiative aimed to promote early cancer detection, ensure timely medical intervention and strengthen community awareness about cancer risks. Health officials reiterated that early diagnosis significantly improves treatment outcomes.
