Nagpur, July 16 -- The ongoing controversy surrounding the Marathi language in Maharashtra has now reached Nagpur after causing a stir in Mumbai.

The incident took place today in Nagpur where Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers stormed into a Union Bank branch in the city and demanded accountability and respect for the Marathi language.

The issue began after the tragic death of a young man, Yogesh Bopche in a road accident in the city.

After the incident, the Bopche family initiated the process to claim the insurance amount.
