Nashik, Sept. 12 -- Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Bala Nandgaonkar today questioned the status of the sensational honey-trap case that had rocked the state, demanding an update on its high-profile investigation.
The question was raised during a joint protest march by the MNS and Shiv Sena (UBT) to the District Collector's office against municipal corruption and a deteriorating law-and-order situation.
The honey-trap case, which originated in Nashik, had created a stir with allegations implicating as many as 15 senior bureaucrats, ministers, and political leaders. "What happened to this case?" Nandgaonkar asked.
