Thane, Nov. 28 -- A serious error in the draft voter lists for the upcoming 2025 general elections has sparked controversy in Thane after Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Avinash Jadhav on Thursday flagged discrepancies on the Thane Municipal Corporation's (TMC) official website.
While examining the draft rolls for Ward No. 12, Jadhav discovered that the lists displayed on the TMC website were actually those of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC). Shockingly, addresses such as Airoli Sector 2 and Amrit Sar Society-clearly within Navi Mumbai limits-were found in the Thane voter database.
