Mumbai, Nov. 28 -- In a significant setback for the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) ahead of the upcoming municipal elections, the party's Kalyan-Dombivali District President Prakash Bhoir resigned from all posts today.

His resignation has dealt a political blow to MNS chief Raj Thackeray.

Bhoir said he had submitted his resignation from both the primary membership of the MNS and the position of District President to Raj Thackeray. He stated that he felt undervalued within the organisation and therefore decided to step down.

Bhoir added that he would announce his next political move shortly.
