Pune, Aug. 24 -- Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray today endorsed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's allegation that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) gained power through "voter fraud with the help of the Election Commission".

Addressing party workers ahead of the upcoming municipal elections, Thackeray instructed them to carefully examine voter lists to prevent irregularities.

He said that if Gandhi's claims were thoroughly investigated, many political manipulations from the last 12-14 years would be exposed.

Thackeray recalled that he had long been raising concerns about voter list discrepancies and even held discussions with leaders like Sharad Pawar and Mamata Banerjee, though they later backed out.
