Hyderabad, March 10 -- The nomination process for the MLC elections under the MLA quota in Telangana has concluded, with five candidates filing their papers, signaling a likely unopposed election.
Congress has fielded Addanki Dayakar, Shankar Nayak, and Vijayashanti, while its alliance partner CPI has nominated Nellikanti Satyam for one seat. The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has put forward Dasoju Shravan as its candidate.
The nomination filing ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Congress ministers, MLAs, and CPI leaders.
